I took a calmer approach

First of all, I know how difficult this test is...so much information...however, after having 10 years experience working in education, I feel that I have a pretty firm grasp of best practice. Cramming information is not best practice. Studying content that cannot be related to real world experience is not best practice. Taking paper tests with questions that are outdated...in comparison to a computer based, high stakes exam with situational content...it's out of alignment. Mind mapping doesn't work when you are pressured by truncated time (1 minute to speed read and take notes, and then memorize where they are on the card...). I would be happy to consult ways to improve the program, because - and this is honest - the instructor Paul was the best part of class. I really enjoyed him. Lastly, I will say that the course was a boost, in terms of laying a foundation for the rest of my own personal study (over the weekend and with my own proven tools). I just don't believe that you can justify intensive cramming and expect to retain knowledge and think critically at the same time...
