I returned my rental item on Saturday
I returned my rental item on Saturday, 17 May, between 11:35 and 11:45am—well within the agreed rental period. When I arrived, I was informed that the staff member handling hires had already left, so I was asked to write down my name, contact number, and the details of the item I was returning. Despite returning the item on time, I received several emails on Sunday and Monday stating I would be charged a £4.58 late fee. I called the branch on Monday and was told the system had been updated to show the correct return time, yet I was still charged the fee. I also attempted to contact the number provided on the invoice for two consecutive days but was unable to get through to anyone. As of now, I still haven’t received a response to my query. This has been a frustrating experience, and I hope someone can review this and resolve the issue as soon as possible.
