After i had driven 10 miles to the nearest photo booth, i had trouble getting the machine to work. It didnt let me choose passport photos until after it had printed my pics out. I had a lady just open the curtain while i was having my photo taken (she said she didnt realise someone was in there...closed curtain and feet underneath wasnt a big enough clue!), then she proceeded to stand right outside which was off putting. After wasting £10 on that one i went and tried another booth. This time i could select passport photos and paid another £10. Pics printed out and they had green and purple stripes all over my face (not great at make up but not quite THAT bad). Pics unusable. Had to go to the front desk in the store to be told lots of people have had the same issue and they were surprised it hadnt been fixed yet. Told i have to go and contact the company to get a refund (sent off proof of code and phone pic of alien pictures. Still waiting to see if my refund has been issued. Came home and googled where else i could try after wasting £20. Found this company. A lot cheaper. Took my own photo and they got rid of the back ground for me. So a wasted afternoon, 20 miles of driving, £20 wasted when i could have done the pic at home at less than £6. Done in 5 minutes, passport application form finished and sent off via the passport website. I recommend this site over photo booths any day
