Unfair Fees for Accessing My Own Transaction History

I am deeply disappointed with ICS Credit Card (ABN AMRO) regarding their policy of charging €5 per monthly statement for accessing my own transaction history beyond two years. I contacted ICS to retrieve proof of charges dating back to 2018 for an important consumer rights claim, only to be told that accessing these records would cost me €5 per statement. For a period spanning several years, this amounts to an outrageous fee. It is absurd and unfair that a customer has to pay such exorbitant costs to access their own financial data. This practice puts people in a position where they cannot easily defend their rights or resolve disputes, especially in cases involving long-term unauthorized charges. Access to historical transaction data should be a basic service, not a money-making scheme. ICS's policy feels exploitative, particularly for customers seeking to address legitimate concerns. This experience has left me questioning the fairness and transparency of ICS as a service provider. I hope ICS reconsiders this unfair practice and adopts a more customer-friendly approach.
