Excellent experience
I booked this particular apartment nearly 20 months ahead of time in order to enjoy a 'ringside' seat of the Regatta Storica and was not disappointed. Friendly Rentals are, what the title says, friendly - they are also professional and top of their game with communication. Our apartment was fantastic - we were made to feel welcome and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The apartment is in a beautiful old palace with a lovely garden which were able to enjoy. The area Dorsoduro is excellent, far less tourists and we enjoyed meandering around the area. San Marco is easily accessible therefore one can choose to visit either early in the morning or for an evening aperitif in order to escape the daytime crowds. There is the added advantage on being close to vaporetto stop and also having your own Aqua Porta should you need a taxi. Everything was perfect - throwing open the shutters in the mornings to view the comings and goings of the Grand Canal!
