Don’t book with Bestprice Travel
I booked a business class flight with Finnair (Frankfurt to Sydney leaving 7.25pm 7 September) through Bestprice Travel as advertised on the Skyscanner website. I submitted my payment details, only to see a confirmation saying my booking was on ‘standby’. I tried contacting the agency and could not reach them. I received no booking confirmation either. I contacted Finnair and they confirmed I was not booked on their flight. The flight is tomorrow! I have had to book directly with Finnair - but I am concerned that I will still be charged for my ‘non booking’ with Bestprice travel. If this happens, I will be taking legal action with both Skyscanner and Bestprice for misleading trading. I cannot believe this has happened.
