Want a beach hotel? Limited mobility?Don`t go!
Tour to Croatia, B&H and Montenegro with extension hotel "on the beach", my 6th with RSD. Asked for change of hotel (refused) because it was 270mtrs from the beach and separated from it by 4 other hotels, construction works and a busy dual carriageway. My wife was recovering from a broken leg and was therefore unable to negotiate the distance and 150 steps to the beach. The beach itself was covered in debris and not fit for holiday activity. An RSD email stated this holiday was unsuitable for a person with limited mobility but was unable to point to where this was explained in the documentation for this or any other RSD tour. RSD promised to contact me about this complaint on my return. They didn`t. They rejected my written complaint about the clearly misleading description of the holiday and continue to defend the indefensible. They also failed to commit to changing their advertising material so that future customers were not adversely affected. By the way, the food at the hotel was abysmal. RSD have been pretty good in the past but selling, and continuing to sell holidays under false pretences really is a step too far. Their attitude has been crushingly disappointing. My advice to potential customers is to think carefully before booking with RSD as, like me, they may not get what they believe they have paid for. Goodbye RSD, hello ABTA complaints procedure. Goodby
