Rightmove are inclusive
My son and his partner have spent some weeks trying to find a rental property in an area that’s far more conducive to their future careers aspirations, and they used Rightmove to search for their ideal property. They recently found a property that meets their needs, and were lucky enough to be offered the tenancy, subject to reference checks etc. At this point they’re currently waiting on the final checks being carried out, and a minor hitch was thrown up - however the Rightmove team are endeavouring to do their best to ensure that the tenancy goes ahead as planned, and finger’s crossed all will be well. The point of my review is this: my son has Aspergers, and struggles regarding communicating via phone/email, as he can’t see who he is talking to. I stepped in on his behalf, advocacy is something he requires from time to time. Having explained why he needs (occasional) additional support, I cannot fault the Rightmove team for their attitude - they’re inclusive, patient, and genuine in my opinion. It’s a shame that they’ve received negative reviews, as my experience has been positive (albeit on my son’s behalf). Please be assured that Rightmove do not look to fail, rather I’ve found them helpful, responsive, and understanding - and I’m qualified enough to share my opinion because there have been occasions whereby companies/service providers have been sadly lacking when it comes to supporting those with additional needs. Don’t write Rightmove off based on some of the reviews on Trustpilot, they’re far more approachable than some would have you think.
