The pricing is at best erroneous and at worst is unethical
I was offered a 50% discount on pricing based on the plan I selected. The pricing was really opaque and you can't see which credit card is attached directly on the platform, and I thought this was weird, so I snapped a screenshot of the price they said they would charge when my trial period expired, just in case. And I'm glad I did. Because when my trial period expired, they tried to take double what they said they would charge me. I contacted customer service about this and they took 3 days to get back to me, in the meantime, they tried twice more to take double the agreed upon price from my bank as well. This is incompetent at best, and unethical at worst. It's a real shame, because I like the App the itself and I would have actually paid the original price for it without the discount, but this just leaves a really bitter taste in my mouth. I'm actually still going to pay for TalkPal Premium, it's a good App, but I wanted to post this to let new subscribers know that they should take a screenshot as proof of the agreed upon charge and then check their bank statements, ready to dispute with Talkpal.ai if they tried to overcharge you. It's a real shame, the App itself is pretty good.
