Salesforce Admin class.
I am taking the Salesforce Admin class. The instructor was very very hard to understand, his English was not the best and his accent was very pronounced. This is the second instructor I was assigned to, and believe it or not, the first one was worse. It really seems as though they are simply reading the instructor notes, and they do not have a great understanding of Salesforce themselves, as there is difficulty in getting detailed questions answered. The material was well organized and excellently produced - however I was expecting use cases as assignments, and more detail in some of the topics that were covered. For example, formulas and permissions needed more information/detail. I didn't feel that my questions were understood, or answered so that I was satisfied with the answer. The classes are videoed, which is very useful, and I found that rather than going to the live class, where the language barrier was so frustrating, I'm watching the videos over and over, so that if I do not understand what is being said, I can stop and replay it until it is clear enough to continue. The Career Counseling Specialist was great, but still I worried that asking to change instructions a second time would be a problem, so I just continued on. I'm just not a person that understands strong accents easily. I'm frustrated with myself as well. My recommendation would be to ask to watch a couple of sample classes to see if you might have the same problem, instead of my having defective ears or something. Everyone is nice, I'm just not getting what I wanted out of this class.
