At a loss. And looking for answers from no response …
I have been using testerup for just over a month. I’m a disabled veteran, and it seemed like an honest way to earn a few bucks. So I chose a few games and dove in. It seemed to be going according to plan until around the two week mark. At which point I noticed one of the games stop tracking my progress. I went to the faq page and found that it happens sometimes just wait 48 hours and it will catch up? Except it did not catch up. So I put in a message to support and created a ticket. And received this message stating that they have be n experiencing an unusual high level of support request to please be patient and don’t create another ticket. And don’t worry you will not be forgotten. Well that was nice to hear. U fortunately I never did hear from them I did wait a few days and I attempted to contact them! I did keep playing the game as there’s a time limit you have to reach the determined level in. Well again a few more days pass and not a word from them. We in week 5 now. I have made 4 attempts to contact them and have yet to receive any reply other then the automated response claiming they have received the message and will be in touch soon. I have invested my time within there rules and terms. I’ve given my time in advance and in good faith. And It feels like I’ve been completely taken advantage of and then disregarded completely! I was not expecting to get rich. However adding 70 or 80 dollars to my budget. Will double what I have for my grocery fund after paying my bills. And I have to admit that after going the last few years making such a small amount stretch to cover the entire month. Well let’s just say I was very much looking forward to the significant improvement in the upcoming meal choices! But here I sit getting no credit for the majority of the time already invested. I’m below the minimum amount required to withdraw and I can’t get them to respond or communicate with me in any way! I’m at a loss here! And just disappointed mostly! How does this type of situation happen! What’s the thought process when things are getting to this point? What were the things that they are dealing with that makes them ok with treating folks like this? These are a few of the questions that go through my mind. And ones I don’t have the answers to. It is however in my experience that the choice not to communicate is never the best choice no matter how bad things may be! Some are going to be upset for sure! But I believe that they always underestimate the kindness and understanding that many good folks demonstrate when given the chance. Yet to not communicate at all eventually upsets even the most patient folks! As it’s just rude to leave people in the dark that put their time effort and trust in you. It’s an undesirable decision that adds nothing positive to the situation. The worst part of situations like this is just having no clue what’s going on and trying to keep from filling in the blanks with the worst case scenarios. And it’s foolish and unnecessary to allow such a situation to develop when the ability to avoid it altogether is such a simple thing to accomplish.I’m now exploring what actual options I have in this matter. And what’s the most beneficial course of action! I may be disabled and prefer to be kind whenever possible. I’m not one to be taken for granted and to mistaken my kindness as weakness is a mistake that has not turned out well for this who have done that. I do not except being anyone’s doormat or to being treated as less then. I do not treat people that way. And have done nothing to justify ring treated in such ways! To often get his type of thing happens and folks are busy and have many responsibilities to take care of and do not have the time to deal with these things like they may wish they could. And it’s just not worth the time over that small amount of money. And for 50 plus’s years that was me! But I have time today. And tomorrow and the next day! And feel the need to hold them accountable for the agreement I entered in good faith with them! I have done and continue to do my part. However there is a point when it changes from what’s been honestly earned and not paid. To a civil liability claim with damages and all the extra time and effort that one has to invest to get what’s owed and at that point things can get very expensive as well as have debilitating consequences on a small business especially. I obviously do not wish for things to get to that extreme! As in many cases they just file bankruptcy and that’s the end of that. Except for one thing positive they are exposed and out of business meaning they are not able to continue deceiving people! And if they can’t even manage to communicate at this point let alone pay what they owe! Then why is the platform open for anyone to join up and start investing their time! It would be in their best interest to stop letting that happen! At least until the hey caught up!
