I Went into the Wimbledon branch of CeX -so glad I did.
I went into the Wimbledon branch of CeX last week. An off chance. I'd bought my mobile from their Kingston branch some while ago. I was passing the store during my shopping, so it was just on impulse, and I hoped that one of the staff could help me with my phone that wasn't charging up at all. My other spare one was being blocked by a rubbish cheap provider (which I will review soon) even though there was money on it, but they wanted more top ups. So, I had no functioning mobile. The CeX staff member who helped me was called Robert (I asked). He tested the charger. It was dead. He then replaced it for me free of charge. That led to his checking whether it was functioning properly. It was now. He then looked at my phone blocked by the rubbish company (never contactable) pushing for regular top-ups, but which still had plenty of money on it. Robert thought it best to dump them and cut my losses. He put a 'new' sim 7GB card in it by a well respected provider. It worked beautifully and I shall continue to use it. He took nothing for it. He spent time making sure all was working well and at no time was there any pressure or hinting to buy anything. I have been to other CeX branches when I wanted something and there are usually pretty good staff. Robert, was was extremely friendly, helpful and went above and beyond.
