Reimbursement request via email misread and mishandled
I strongly urge TalkPal to resolve an issue regarding my unintended yearly subscription and reimbursement. Initially, I signed up for a brief free trial with TalkPal. Unfortunately, I never received any email notification or reminder when the subscription would automatically renew into a yearly plan. Despite this oversight, I attempted to cancel the subscription before the trial ended. However, due to a technical error, my cancellation request did not go through properly. Consequently, I was charged approximately €90 for a yearly subscription I never intended to activate. On the very same day when the subscription was activated, I promptly contacted TalkPal's support team to clearly request cancellation of the subscription, deletion of my account, and reimbursement of the unintended payment. TalkPal responded by cancelling my subscription and deleting my account, but crucially, they did not handle the reimbursement—the most important aspect of my request. Given that my account has now been deleted and I no longer have access to the service—which I never wanted for a full year—I strongly urge TalkPal to finally address the unresolved reimbursement of approximately €90.
