Budget customer service on leave???
Update: After posting my experience here, Budget have refunded me the fee for the fuel. Even though it took 3 weeks of no response and a post here on trustpilot, I am happy that they agreed to refund me the charge. I rented a car at the budget rental at Knock airport. Instead of handing me a car fully filled, the car was only 5/8 refilled. The budget staff told me to return the car with half a tank. In fact, as soon as I left the car rental, the dial dropped to half. Before I returned the car, I filled the tank to 5/8 but the dial dropped to half just when we arrived at the car park. Budget charged me for the missing fuel. I would expect budget to accept some level of flexibility as it is inconvenient and very difficult to fill up a car to the exact level, and after the staff had asked to return the car half full. The worst part is that after trying to contact budget multiple times, no responds has been provided. Will not use this company again and cannot recommend them to anyone.
