Dishonest and incompetent.
After these people became aware of my previous trustpilot review and ombudsman referral they left multiple messages asking us to contact them and called repeatedly. When we spoke to somebody they asked to submit a new claim so that they could review our situation. They also told us (contradicting what they and their call handler had already told us) that a decision on our claim had been made by Cega (their out of hours call handler) without reference to admiral. We explained that they had given us a final response to our complaint already and that we had contacted the ombudsman. They insisted that we make a new claim. A few days later they called again to say that they shouldn't have told us to make a new claim and apologised for wasting more of our time. They then told us that we could make a complaint about this 'confusion' but that we should hold off on the ombudsman until a final response on this new complaint. Hard to believe anybody could be this incompetent by accident..... Given up being surprised by their shadiness and callousness and assume this is an attempt to hold the ombudsman at arms length for longer?
