We absolutely loved this property and…
We absolutely loved this property and the location in Okaloosa Island! The interior of the condo was very nice, clean and roomy, with the most amazing patio overlooking the pool/hot tub and beach. It had beautiful views of the water, it was a short walk to the most amazing beach, it's a secure/gated property, and is quiet and not over crowded at the condo or the beach. It had 5 miles of accessible open beach area just a few yards from the condo, so that was enjoyable to walk, relax and take in the spectacular views in the morning/daytime/evening. We saw people catching small crabs at night with flashlights. They use them for fishing right from the beach, and they were catching some pretty big fish! We saw stingrays along the shoreline and dolphins from our patio. It came with an umbrella and two beach chairs set up on the beach for us by Cooper, and we were able to rent an extra set for our group. The condo is located just 5-20 minutes from the best restaurants in Okaloosa Island to Destin Harbor Walk. Very low key area, which makes your time even more relaxing. We recommend Stewby's and AJ's Restaurants just up the street from the condo...amazing seafood! We also recommend McGuire's Irish Pub in Destin, as that was amazing food as well. We also enjoyed a sunset dolphin cruise out of Destin Harbor, and visited the Gulf Marine Adventure Park in Okaloosa Island. Both are well worth the cost. Destin's Harbor Walk is a fun walk around, sightseeing, and shopping trip. We got to see a fishing charter come into the harbor with a hefty catch of swordfish and other species of fish, and the harbor itself is a cool cruise around if you take an excursion or rent a pontoon boat or jet ski. Five Star Properties/Bliss Beach Rentals were great to work with. They were very professional, polite, and checked in with us several times before check in, and upon departure. We can't wait to book this property again!
