Love Calecim products! They are healing!
I have been wanting to do at-home microneedling treatments but my skin is so sensitive, that typically it takes a long time for my skin to recover post-treatment. In the past my skin will get (and stay very red) and then get very dry and flakey which would lead my skin to breakout. The whole process seemed to do more harm than good which was frustrating since I was told it was supposed to help with acne scarring. But, after reading reviews on the Calecim products and how it helps reduce inflammation and shorten recovery time I thought I might give the whole process another try and this time apply Calecim products post treatment. The other aspect I was excited about though were the growth factors that are in the products. I have been told in the past that doing microneedling using growth/collagen stimulating products is very important to get the most out of the whole treatment and for overall long-term skin renewal. I used the Calecim serum and recovery night complex gel immediately after the treatment. The serum went on smoothly and helped to calm my skin immediately. The only thing I can say is that it does smell a little odd when you first put it on but then it isn’t noticeable. The gel mask doesn’t really have any smell. It gave me this protective and hydrating layer while I slept and still was very obviously on my face the next morning. It was great to know that my skin wasn’t drying out during the night. I continued to use the serum and the gel for 2 days and by the third day my skin was healed and I didn’t ever experience the dry/flakiness and or have any breakouts! I am excited to say that my recovery time was cut to about half compared to previous experiences! I will definitely be using these products after any future laser/microneedling treatments! After seeing the immediate short-term benefits of serum and gel, I am excited to start using the multi-action cream and the hydration cream (both are so smooth and silky on the skin – and they smell good too!) on a daily basis to continue the healing process of my scars and hopefully rejuvenate my skin overall!
