They don’t see customer complaints through
Be very wary of this company now. They were very helpful, good prices and used to look after you. Now they don’t seem to be interested in bookings and their prices have gone up dramatically. Tried to make a booking worth £10,000 to the Caribbean. The person was very vague, promised to get me a good price and come back by email and with all the details. Nothing happened. Had to make several phone calls to the same person who promised again to look into it, never did and never sent anything. Eventually got a price but with no details. Quite clearly not interested. Went to another company who were extremely helpful, ran through all the details and gave me a much better price than Cruise 1st were offering. Cruise 1st had a booking for a different cruise sent to them which I booked onboard. It didn’t go to the correct person at Cruise 1st. It was picked up by somebody random. Poor discount applied. Again took over a week to get the paperwork sent to me, after making a number of calls to them. I found out 2 other companies could have given me a much better discount had I have passed it through them. Spoke to a lady called Michelle in Customer Service who was supposed to be dealing with this complaint . I had to keep chasing her up. She was supposed to be looking into it. She kept saying “I can’t do this, I can’t do that”. She promised me that his line manager would call me. That was 2 weeks ago, still waiting for a call. Complaint still unresolved. I would give this company a wide berth if I was you.
