SCAM
SCAM - not partners according to MS - apps cannot be activated !!! Found company whilst looking for good price for MS office for Mac. checked - all looked ok - stated they were MS partners and had an ID number etc. purchased MS Office for Mac 2024 - link provided downloaded the software and installed fine - but no activated ! Then went to their license validation - downloaded and installed ok - but all apps still show as not activated. Chat support - states 24hrs and 7days available - but it states chat is closed !!! Contacted Microsoft and provided the Partner ID from Digital license shop website - Microsoft stated they don't use partner numbers and that what is stated in invalid and that I should go back to my credit card company to get a refund !!! Additional Edit- (AFTER FIRST RESPONSE FROM COMPANY) The company state they are a different company and I have reviewed the incorrect company. That is possible as when you search for Digital License Shop on Trust pilot there seem to be several with similar names. However, only one of them states they have over 1116 reviews and score 4.6 on trust pilot ! Which is exactly the information stated on - digital-license-shop.com I have taken a screenshot but cannot seem to upload it as evidence. So either this other company is lying totally about having any trust pilot reviews (in which case Trust Pilot themselves should be taking action (legal if necessary) to get the website taken down) and they are stealing / impersonating the company with the website - digitallicense.shop On looking at the websites they are remarkably similar - both sell Microsoft licensed products, they look very similar to each other in how they are set out, the discounts offered, and very importantly both state very clearly they have 1116 reviews and score 4.6 on Trust Pilot. Lastly they both have a green key shape as their logo. !! Something odd is going on. If one is a scam then the other and trust pilot should be doing something about it. There is no actual detail on the second website clarifying who owns the company, the first at least provides several names - whether they are real or not is another matter. Scam monitoring websites appear to list both of these websites as possible scam sites The simple fact is that clearly someone here is lying and it seems very unfortunate that the other company and Trust Pilot have not taken action to have the offending website removed. I will leave the review for the moment as it is really impossible to say these are not the same business - there does not seem to be a trust pilot listing specifically for - digital-license-shop.com but this is not conclusive. I would urge Trust Pilot to look into this urgently as customers will be misled by the claimed reviews which may have been stolen ? AFTER 2ND RESPONSE - ADDITIONAL INFO FROM REVIEWER (as at 5/11/24). 1. The websites are very very similar. 2. The trust pilot listing is exactly the same. 3. Neither website state a formal company name that can be verified. 4. Neither website state the owners details that can be verified - the "about us" is just vague. 5. Both websites show up on scam monitoring websites are scams. 6. Microsoft have confirmed neither of these websites are authorised agents or partners. 7. Microsoft further state that what is being sold generally on these sort of websites is the enterprise version (where a company has purchased a license for say 100 people to use) - but then the company goes out of business and the license is then acquired by these websites and sold to 100 customers as being a single copy of the actual software. Although it doesn't seem illegal it is not very clear to customers what they are buying. Additional Response (8 November 2024) Further to the additional edit response from this company. 1. Look on Scam detector dot com - gives this website digital license.shop a score of 36.1 and notes it as "questionable, controversial, flagged" You state you are not on any scam websites ?? 2. It is still possible that you are innocent and another party has pretty much completely copied you website colour scheme, green key icon, trust pilot scoring etc. However typing digitallicense.shop into google via (duckduckgo) shows up only trust pilot and scam detector websites on first page. 3. As far as your company being fully traceable - "about us" on the website does not provide the company details - it merely states what you sell and that your business was started by something called softness.srl in 2014 - however, typing that into google gives no results that appear to be a company ? 4. I have not defamed you - I have provided an honest opinion - having tracked down the company with the same details digital license and the same trust pilot scoring reviews. In addition the same icon symbols etc etc. Please provide ID proof?
