I booked a trip through Travelocity

I booked a trip through Travelocity. The flight offered was Air Canada. I was ticketed for another airline, Air Canada Rouge, a budget airline subsidiary, on a flight to Barcelona. I was not ticketed right away, and received an email saying that "Ticketing is in progress." This was for an Air Canada flight. Today I checked on the progress and I was not ticketed for an Air Canada flight, I was ticketed for an Air Canada Rouge flight, which is an affiliated but completely different budget airline. I booked under the assumption that I was buying flight with Air Canada, and was led to believe this through the advertising. Nowhere during the process did it state that I would be flying on an Air Canada Rouge flight. As a person with disabilities, I expressly selected the Air Canada flights because I have flown them internationally before. The comfort and service and amenities in normal Air Canada flights help make travel possible for me. Having been assigned to a budget airline without my consent and express knowledge now makes a nearly 20 hour trip likely unbearable. This practice of purposefully misleading customers into thinking they are booking with a well-respected company to be tricked into purchasing with a separate airline is fraudulent. Moreover, Travelocity has a 24 hour cancellation policy, yet they did not ticket my flight right away, revealing the true airline after the 24 hours had passed (and only still once I logged into my online account-nothing was emailed to me), so I was not given the opportunity to consider this information in light of the cancellation policy. When calling Travelocity and speaking to a supervisor, he said I could cancel my airfare (within the cancellation window apparently) but not the hotel, so I'd be stuck with a hotel that I couldn't get to or would have to pay significantly more for. He also said it is plainly laid out that it's AC Rouge, which I have an email where it says nothing of the kind. He basically called me a liar, and I basically told him to go screw himself. I'd rather pay hundreds more than give another dime to a shady company.
