extremely disappointing
I had an extremely disappointing and costly experience with BusinessClass.com that I would not wish on any traveler. My wife and I were traveling to Thailand on U.S. passports, flying Lufthansa via Munich with a connection in Mumbai and final destination Bangkok. The tickets were booked entirely through BusinessClass.com. Upon arriving at the Lufthansa counter at the airport, we were informed that because our itinerary landed in Mumbai at 11:55 PM and departed again at 2:40 AM the following day, we would require an Indian visa — or be forced to change flights. At no point during the booking process did BusinessClass.com disclose that this itinerary would require an Indian visa, nor did they warn us of the risks associated with this type of overnight international connection. As a result of this oversight, we were put in an impossible situation at the airport and are now being charged an additional $9,000 just to be able to reach our destination. This is a critical piece of information that any competent travel agency should flag, especially when dealing with international connections and visa-sensitive countries like India. The lack of transparency and failure to properly advise us caused severe stress, disruption, and an enormous unexpected financial burden. I strongly advise travelers to double-check every detail independently if considering BusinessClass.com, as relying on them to flag visa requirements or connection risks can result in very expensive consequences.
