Lovely villa in a village location
The villa was just what we were after - in the small hillside hamlet of Mathes, a few minutes above the town of Georgioupolis - with beautiful views from the pool, windows and balconies. Two good tavernas in the hamlet, with lovely views to the sea and the town below. The owners of the villa (who also run an excellent family restaurant in the town - Vasilikos), were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. If we wanted anything, they were so helpful.
