Browns Exeter. Very disappointing
Browns Exeter Food was a bit disappointing for the price. I had a chicken schnitzel with a fried egg on top. Nothing special. Well staffed and efficient service but I gradually got a bit irratated by being asked how my food was by 8 different people just when I had a mouth ful! 🥴 Ps: ran out of my favourite Creme Brulee as early as 6.35pm on a Friday evening!! Pps: Had a brownie instead. Not good, I'm afraid.🤦♀️ I suggest a better pastry chef? 🤔 The other thing I was put off was by an air fresher smell, like the awful smelling ones you get hanging in your car after a car wash, used to mask the cooking smells coming from the kitchen. Begs the question? Are the air extractors not effective enough in the kitchen? Or maybe use of organic fragrances would have be better..... I couldn't wait to get out in the fresh air. Shame becaus the waiting staff try really hard.
