Unable to access my Uphold account and funds
Since 4/10/2023 I have been a customer of Uphold Wallet, and until 8/6/2025, I have experienced no issues logging into my account, making purchases or executing sales. At risk is $1200 worth of XRP in my wallet that I need to sell quickly to repair my vehicle that is now undrivable without urgent repairs. Since 8/6/2025 I have wasted several hours of my precious time over the past 3 days attempting to logon to my account to no avail. Uphold Wallet now requires access via their new mobile app instead of my desktop that used to work perfectly. Now nothing works, not the platform website, not the mobile app, nothing is working, and I waste my time going around and around in an endless loop. I researched the Internet to locate a phone number for support to request access to my account, and nobody answers the phone. I am required to leave a voice mail message, hoping that someone will call me back and resolve my issue. Obviously, Uphold does not want to be bothered by account holders, and they have made it impossible to access my account requiring a mobile app that does not work. Since I have been unable to access my Uphold account, I requested support to close my account and transfer my money to my bank account. They asked me to go through an ID verification process, which I did twice, and they acknowledged receiving said ID verification. Support also asked for my bank account information, which I also did provide immediately when asked. They did close my account per my request, but after 3 days, they still have my money, and they have not responded as to when I can receive my money. It appears as though they have contrived a device to steal my funds in my account. As of 8/8/2025, after 3 days of asking and waiting, still no response from Uphold Wallet as to when I can receive my $1200 into my checking account.
