Absolutely Disgusting experience. Avoid at all costs
I visited Vabali Spa in Hamburg expecting a relaxing and luxurious experience. What I got instead was deeply uncomfortable and honestly very revolting. Nowhere, absolutely nowhere, was it clearly stated that wearing swimwear is not allowed. This is not just a minor detail. It’s a major policy that should be communicated clearly and repeatedly before anyone enters. What followed was a surreal and disturbing experience. The entire place is filled with completely naked strangers walking around and sharing all facilities with zero barriers. I was stunned to find myself surrounded by naked bodies everywhere in the pools, in the saunas, in the hallways, inside as well as outside. There is no escape from this nudity. It felt more like a creepy cult than a spa. Not only is this kind of policy bizarre, it’s also incredibly unhygienic and just plain gross. The vibe is not serene — it’s unsettling. I couldn’t relax for a second and had to immediately cancel our spa pass. If you’re expecting a traditional spa or wellness retreat with a touch of class and basic hygiene standards, do not come here. Unless you’re actively seeking an awkward and unsanitary nudist encounter, stay far, far away from this place.
