Unprofessional in all aspects
I had an account with So Energy at a newly purchased property for a grand total of 3 days. For this 3 day period my final bill was over £300 for electricity. Gas was also incorrect but nowhere near the comical amount of electricity they were attempting to charge me for. Obviously a ploy by the company where they hope people are too lazy to check the amount on the closing final bill as no accurate algorithm or common sense would dictate that £300 of electricity could be used across 3 days - ESPECIALLY as I was not living in the property yet. When I politely complained about this I got no apology beyond "speak to your current energy provider". I.E. "It's not our problem." Octopus Energy resolved this for me swiftly. When initially speaking to a staff member of So Energy - they were the most apathetic American I have ever spoken to. I felt like I was a massive inconvenience to her day and had no faith in her providing an accurate or efficient level of service. She sounded like she'd rather saw her own leg off than speak to me. Overall I would never use or recommend this company.
