We have used travel republic a few…

We have used travel republic a few times now for various things but have never booked a package holiday with them. The booking process was easy and was the best price we found online. Customer service is where a company either flys or crumbles and travel republic went above and beyond. Our flight out got cancelled (technical fault with the plane) at 1am with a flight rebooked out the following day. We were only going for 4 nights so due to this had lost a day of the holiday. I called the out of hours team who notified the hotel we wouldnt be arriving however her resources were limited due to the time of day. However i was grateful to be able to speak to someone when we dodnt really have a clue what was going on. The next day i called and spoke to the in resort team. I told them ideally we would change our return flight to the day later so we got the 4 days we had originally booked. They liased with the hotel and airline to accomodate us. The hotel wouldnt budge and said nothing they could do. If we wanted an extra day we would have to pay. The airline moved it no issues. I contacted the travel insurance to see if there was anything we could claim for with regards to the hotel but there wasnt so agreed to pay for the extra night. Once i had confirmed those changes Danielle came back and advised they didnt want us to be out of pocket and would cover the extra night. This to me is what customer service is all about she went above and beyond to help us in a stressful time and we were very grateful. I would recommend them to anybody now due to our experiance as not every company is so helpful or accessible.
