A rip off on the excess
On the positive side, the price of hire was fine and the car virtually new. They tried to sell me their own insurance to cover the excess but I already had cover on my holiday insurance. When it came to returning the car, they noticed that I had scratched a plastic hub cap and charged me 110 Euros for it. You can buy a replacement set of 4 hub caps online for £50. Not a good experience.
