Big Big Thank you TOM!
I had tried to sell my house 4 years ago and it was on the market for 2 years at a difficult economic period and did not sell. So it was with some apprehension, after having done some improvements cosmetically (re-plastering, painting, carpeting, tiling and updating the look of the kitchen) and getting a new boiler that I approached the online selling agent Sellmyhome. I thought I would give it a try, unsure of the result but it could not be worse than the experience with a well known high street agent. Tom was very friendly and extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. He gave very good advice and encouragement so I appointed Sellmyhome at the end of August. The photographer took exceedingly beautiful pictures and I will keep the brochure just because my house looked so beautiful! The house was online, live within 24 hours, and went off line within less than that time because genuine buyers came in, had a look around, and made an offer. I accepted the second offer, helped by Tom, who did the negotiation for a higher price, which I would not have expected. The sale of the house took a long while due to a few issues to be sorted and online solicitors who unfortunately were shall we say diplomatically not as good as they were rated. Anyway this does not take away the shine of SellmyHome, who I warm heartedly recommend to give a try. They are very good value, and I would suggest using their sale progression add-on which help get things moving along. At several points of the sale progression things got stuck and if it had not been for Tom's persistence and know how could have ended up in loss of the sale. But Tom kept a very positive and friendly attitude and thanks to him I have now reached exchange of contracts at last. I am very very very pleased and want to say a BIG THANK YOU TOM!!!!! Leila
