I bought a small pool online for €849 to lastus until we got a pool built. About an hour later my wife saw one on their site for just over €5,000. We decided to cancel the first one and buy the one she liked. This was in March 2024. I was just waiting for a refund of the first one before purchasing the second one. It was being sold by another company on their website. They said I couldn't have a refund until they got the money back. Each time we called they said they hadn't received it yet. But the other company told me they sent the money back April 18th. Each time we called they said they would get back to me in about a week but never did. Eventually I got a number corresponding with the refund that they could see they got the money back. Finally on December 17th they said they had refunded my money but would take 3 to 5 working days. The money never turned up. Called again today. They said the repayment failed but didn't bother letting me know. Asked them if I would get it back within a week. They said they didn't want to put a timescale on it. I have had to employ someone to get this far. We told them in December they had a week to get the money back to me or we were going to take it down the legal route. They now have 7 days before we do now. Will keep it updated on here. In June I purchased a chainsaw off them. They didn't have it in stock when I went to collect it. I paid the same way and got my refund the same day. I have spent thousands of Euro's with them in the last 18 months and it is the only problem I have had. But over 9 months trying to get a refund is too long.
