Access to nursing course (Adult)
Definitely recommend this course it’s affordable and you can do it in your own time. I did the adult nursing one and I’m now a first year student midwife! So much of what I have learnt in this course links to what I’m currently learning at university. So not only does it give you access to university, but also a great basic understanding of everything. I completed the course in 6 months around working full time. It was very full on. But the study materials are great and YouTube was a big help. Most of tutors which mark the assignments are great and give useful feedback. However did receive a few grades which I thought was unfair. Or feedback which was vague. I did follow this up to Wendy the HE lead. She was amazing and got it sorted for me quickly and kept me updated. Without this I wouldn’t have got the UCAS points I needed. Definitely think there could be more information provided on how many UCAS points you receive for each grade. As I didn’t realize until half way through the course your grade for each assignment matters and determines your UCAS points. I just thought passing the course would achieve the amount of UCAS points I needed. Overall I can highly recommend as not only did it provide me with the qualification I needed but it has also been a massive help with my first few midwifery modules at university. 😊
