Once bitten!
This was my second attempt to book a Vietnam trip with the Travel Department. First attempt was based on a Saturday paper advert, to which we responded and provisionally booked. TD contacted on the Monday saying they needed €450/person more ( €900 euros total). I declined and cancelled the booking. The second time was Nov 29/2024. I booked a Black Friday deal for two people, paid €1000 deposit for Explore Vietnam. On Jan 29/2025, TD cancelled the holiday for logistical reasons, offered another date at- ( no surprise) more money. I’ve now booked with another company but v disappointed with TD advertising and delivery. BTW- the Black Friday deal took 300€ off a 6000€ holiday- so it’s not like I was getting the deal if the century.
