Beware
Beware, if Travelocity thinks they may owe money they will lie to you and play all kinds of games to delay or evade payment. We were owed a refund due to a cancelled Covid flight. For over a year, and many attempts to get a refund from both TAP Portugal Airlines and Travelocity, the booking agent, both stalled and blamed each other. We went from asking Travelocity to help as the travel agent, to begging for help. The final try were were told that we were wrong, that there was no way that Travelocity could help or be responsible for the cancelled flight. We were told that we were speaking to management and our call could not be escalated to a higher level. When we went to a consumer advocate, we were told that Travelocity was definitely responsible and they’d get the money for us. It took only a few days. Apparently no arguments or discussions. Travelocity knew they were wrong and lying. We’re talking $1800- here. Not chump change. Travelocity will sink to all time lows, screw a customer, and lie all the way to the bank. Avoid them and the rest of the Expedia family.
