I inherited so energy as they bought…
I inherited so energy as they bought out ESB who was the best provider I ever had. So energy have continually raised fees even within a fixed contract post Ukraine war- they sell your debt on without trying to collect payment or even notifying you first, they then refuse to update your account with the payments made to the third party causing a shambles for your credit score as they report the matter of fact you haven’t paid directly to so energy. Every time you call it’s a song and dance over who’s handling the account. I’ve sent over 16 emails over 6 weeks with no response I asked for a SARS and said I would provide ID I still have no information on this. So then eventually after never offering prior, allowed me to set up an agreement to pay some arrears directly as the 3rd party apparently don’t update so energy on the payments. Then I find myself chasing so for 4 months to add the payments to my account which states I defaulted the payment for 4 months. It’s a joke. They denied knowing the person who was handling the claim in April today I called and she does exist… they just lie to you and make out as a customer you do not understand how things work… the reality is most people with the lowest intelligence have worked in these spots - do you think honestly the general public don’t understand how to pay their bills? It’s insulting!! They have not apologised once for all the calls I’ve had to make, emails and generally impacting my mental health for over half the year. The only reply I get is half bothering to answering a query I make with the very facts I already present them. So poor I would not rate- also tried for a smart meter but can’t seem to organise this either… great job when the smet2 roll out was in 2021!!!!
