Avoid Avis Budget, Added charges they don't disclose to you... Horrific Service
When picking up a car, we were asked to sign to a tablet to agree to pay drop off fee, gave credit card for deposit and then 5 days later a receipt turns up with +£300 worth of charges they'd added without asking. Car and insurance was pre paid in advance so nothing else was needed to pay at pick up apart from drop off fee. Scammers. Have tried to get money back but as we'd signed they wont return. Horrific experience from a so called reputable company. Avoid at all costs. Have gone round and round in circles with trying to get £200 back that was overpaid, I wouldn’t leave a scathing review if I hadn’t already spoken at length for weeks with budget customer services.
