If I could give zero stars I would. We had a plan with American Water Resources and were billed as part of our NJ-American Water Co. bill. One month they suddenly doubled the cost of the plan without warning. We called them to cancel because of the price increase but then they said if we stayed with them, we could get an even better price (lower than before the price increase). We agreed, but with the next bill, the cost was even higher than with the price increase! So, I called and they agreed to credit us the difference, but they did not. Over the next several months, I called every month for the credit and finally cancelled our service contract because they never gave us the credit. They made promises with every call and continued to provide false reassurances that the credit would be "in the next bill." It is not a lot of money, but it is the principle of the matter. I do not want to do business with companies that cannot be trusted. Make sure you review your bill every month!
