My water bill was nearly doubled too…
My water bill was nearly doubled to force me and my wife on to a meter. Anglians use of people's credit score as a payment tool is unjust wrong, people don't get to choose their water company. I have lived in three regions and Anglian is the only provider who does this. Once metered you should get to choose who you pay, like gas and water.
