Avoid Coastal Moving Services – Dishonest, Unprofessional, and Misleading I don’t typically leave reviews, but my experience with Coastal Moving Services was so frustrating and unacceptable that I feel obligated to warn others. This company operates dishonestly and with a total lack of professionalism. Despite providing a detailed inventory of my shipment, I was quoted one price over the phone, only to be hit with an unexpected $200 upcharge once they arrived. They repeatedly confirmed delivery would happen on a specific day—even assuring me they worked Sundays—only to later backtrack and say they don’t deliver on Sundays. I tried to be patient and understanding, but it’s now been over a week without a single update about my belongings. Every time I reach out, I receive vague responses like “it’ll be there by the end of the week,” which clearly means nothing. Their customer service is appalling. I especially want to caution anyone speaking with “Eric” — he will say anything to close a sale, regardless of the truth. He made multiple promises that were never followed through. If you're considering Coastal Moving Services, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. No one deserves the stress, dishonesty, and lack of communication I’ve experienced.
