Cancelled flight
I booked a flight from Alicante to Basel (28-June) with eSky for my wife. We turned up at the airport to find the flight operator (EasyJet) had cancelled the flight. I initially contacted EasyJet who advised that as I booked the flight through an Agent (eSky) I had to take up the matter of a refund with them. This was eSky*s laatst response: The refund request is submitted to the airline. We are waiting for airline's decision. Please be informed that if extraordinary circumstances happen, the airline is not obligated to pay the compensation. My contract was with eSky, not EasyJet so why is my refund dependent on the airline response?
