Don't trust them
They talked up the price I would receive for our fiesta to £1000. I was very clear about the cars condition i.e. damage to both rear wheel arches. The chap I spoke to said that's fine " unless the company who collect the car find it has crash damage you will get the full amount". I confirmed that I was happy to agree to the terms verbally. Sure cars came to collect but had been told the car only had minor marks - so offered only £600. Finally agreed on £800. Do not trust their valuation - it is simply artificially high to win your business. They do not ask for much detail. They do not ask for photos and give the impression that detail descriptions do not really matter - yet that is exactly what the company buying the cars need. They also warn that if you decide not to go ahead with the sale you owe them £120. This combined with the pressure of a man with a car transporter waiting to complete the deal at a lower price is simply unfair. How they are still in business defeats me. I gave them the opportunity to compensate me for the difference but I have not heard anything back. I was also told that the manager would be in touch to discuss what happened - but they have not. Shocking customer service P.s. Their response is what I expected. Entirely my fault for not describing the car properly - even though I did flag the major points. They just chose not to pass that on. It is either fraud or shear incompetence.
