AVOID, SHOCKING COMPANY!!!!
Avoid this company. I stayed in an apartment in Rome, it was an absolute shed, absolutely filthy, most of the fittings and showers did not work, We paid for internet but didn't get any, the location was horrendous. The photos on the website, were an absolute mis-representation. It cost 900 euros,(which we had to pay in cash) for 4 nights in June. I wrote a bad review and tried to post it on Friendly Rentals website, they refused to publish it. They only publish good reviews - again a complete mis-representation. No apology, no compensation, no explanation. Shocking!!! I am determined to let the world know how bad this company is, on every website possible!!! *****You may see below a reply from Friendly Rentals,claiming that a representative, sorted out our problems whilst we were in the apartment - NOT TRUE!! They say they tried to contact me upon my return - NO SUCH CONTACT!! They still refuse to publish my accurate review of this horrible apartment!! Still no compensation!! An apology does not make our bad experience any better!! Friendly Rentals, i'd say UNfriendly Rentals!!************** Update.... Sean is my husband, please feel free to contact him, also feel free to publish our review!! ****Two weeks later, no response, no review, no surprise!!**** ***UPDATE To say that you are disheartened is quite laughable, i have not received any correspondence from you by email. In fact i emailed your company directly through your website, only to be sent a standard reply, saying that the apartment would be looked into. Since then, i have had no feedback whatsoever on your findings, and STILL my review has not been published. I am not badgering you, just trying to get what is right and fair. You have my husbands email and telephone number, you have also said that you would get back to us on Facebook, but haven't!! You seem very able to reply to me on this site, because i am giving you bad publicity, why are you unable to be fair and publish my review, and give me any feedback as to what you have found at the apartment in question. Indeed it is me who is disheartened, the apartment was wholey mis-represented by your website, (maybe because you don't publish true reviews). It took our family a year to save up the money for what should have been a lovely holiday, only to find ourselves in a dirty, noisy, broken down place, that i wouldn't have stayed in had it been free. A little compensation would go a long way!!
