Re. order 2013413. Like many of "Dr Fox's" patients, I have an embarrassing medical condition, and I reluctantly approached "Dr Fox" for diagnosis and treatment. Diagnosis was provided, and I paid for the medication "Dr Fox" prescribed. I provided my delivery address, my given name, and was promised delivery within a few days. Instead, I received an email the next day saying they need to clarify the address, and that I could email them to do this. I followed the instructions and emailed to repeat my address. No clarification was required because the address I had provided was correct. My email was ignored and I got the same email again telling me that my address needed to be clarified, so this time I telephoned "Dr Fox" and spoke to Nicola. I tried to explain why I was calling but Nicola rudely cut me off before I could finish my sentence. I asked her to allow me to finish explaining why I was calling, and this clearly annoyed her, and coloured her approach to me during the rest of the conversation. Rather than focusing on "Dr Fox's" issues understanding basic addresses, Nicola seemed more interested in badgering me about another account they hold on their systems which she claimed shares some common information with my account. Nicola repeatedly asked me for instructions as to what to do with this other account, which I couldn't recall creating, and so couldn't advise her on. Clearly unhappy with how the conversation had started, and further aggravated by my response to her instructions as to what to do with another customer's account, I beleive Nicola decided she would make my life difficult and use the mechanisms at her disposal to punish me. After asking me about the other account five or six times, Nicola gave up and said, in an openly passive-aggressive tone, "no problem, I'll just action an ID request for both accounts". I told Nicola I wasn't planning to provide ID documents to a private company and asked if this meant they wouldn't be fulfilling the contract, and providing the treatment prescribed and paid for, and she was unable to answer. I then told Nicola that I wanted to cancel the order unless she started behaving more kindly and reasonably with me as her patient, to which she responded by telling me she "hadn't been rude", and then without further ado Nicola immediately and unilaterally cancelled my order and hung up on me while I was in the middle of a sentence. To clarify, I wasn't in the least bit abusive or threatening during the call. I merely asked Nicola to allow me to finish my sentence at the start of the call. I have never been treated by a doctor with such incivility in my life. In my opinion and experience, "Dr Fox" is "Dr" in name, but bears no resemblence to the kind of doctors that people in need of care, medical diagnosis, and treatment are accustomed to or expect. Message for "Dr Fox": Needless to say, you do not have the right to defame me in your response, reveal any of my medical information, my identity, or any identities you suspect me of having, in your reply. For other patients, whilst Dr Fox has good reviews, I would suggest trying another online doctor, in the hopes that they can process simple UK addresses without assistance, and that you don't end up on the phone with somebody like Nicola who made me feel as though I was being interrogated by the police.
