Misleading communication, poor service, and a forced partial refund
I purchased an expensive coffee machine that failed within months. After weeks of waiting, Coffee Friend initially told me it had been repaired—only to later admit it hadn’t. Meanwhile, they ignored multiple requests for a refund and only agreed after I issued a formal letter before action. They also insisted on a 15% deduction from the refund amount despite the delays, stress, and poor handling on their side. I accepted only to move on. Communication throughout was evasive and inconsistent, and the process dragged on far longer than acceptable. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Buy from a retailer with real customer support and proper warranty standards in the UK.
