4 trips, 3 back to back. Sri Lanka, then Oman, Egypt and Jordan. On the Sri Lankan trip our excellent guide Ranjan, offered lots of extra options and we took up almost all as a group of 12. On the Oman trip our guide was tested due to flooding and having to rearrange the itinerary several times. Said was completely unflappable and supremely organised. Despite missing the Wadis we had a fantastic time. We were a group of 6. Egypt and Jordan were booked together. On the Egyptian sector we were the only 2. Our guide, Mahmoud, was very good with extensive historical knowledge. Our Jordanian guide Mohammed, was excellent. We were a group of 5. The cooking class was an great activity and I would recommend it as an addition when possible. The Wadi Rum visit was great but suggest not staying in the plastic domes. They are an ecological nightmare and the one we were in smelled like old plastic containers. We had done 2 Intrepid trips previously. Now we are older the Premium is a welcome option. The guides, itineraries and activities have all been excellent. As with all group travel there is give and take. Guides' people management skills make or break a trip. Intrepid guides are well trained and skilled. We have met some great people and look forward to seeing more of the world with Intrepid.
