Company in financial difficulty?

They overestimate bills and even when I cancelled my direct debit so my last scheduled payment whilst still a customer was not taken I am still £400 in credit (and there is no reasoning with them to get even a partial payment returned). Unfortunately, reading other reviews, I think it is quite likely that the company is in financial difficulty and I would guess facing insolvency. If that happens then old customers that have moved on but are due monies back will get nothing. Existing customers that are in credit are protected - they are taken over by a new supplier and credit funds go to them. Lesson in this is don’t allow the company to build up significant credit balances (more than 1 months worth of bills) and when the time comes to leave if you are in credit then you can cancel the last months direct debit. Absolute shysters.
