Hit and Miss
The Pros of this company are the reduction in waste and the occasional bargain, along with sometimes getting items that can be hard to come by elsewhere, especially in the snacks and sweets department. The Cons are the time from placing order to delivery, which is a far cry from most online experiences these days, I've done 4 orders this year and the quickest turnaround was 9 days, once the items have shipped it's fine and my Dx experiences have been good. The quality of out of date items has been pretty appalling, cheese crackers that were just dust in the packs, horribly hazed chocolate, melted and reshaped chocolate, rancid nuts in chocolate...so I now avoid any out of date chocolate, it's just not worth it! The best items have been dried pulses, tins, drinks and occasional household/cleaning products. I have had occasion to contact customer services after 2 x 12 pack items delivered only 1 x 3 pack, CS were amazing and overnighted the outstanding items...only they didn't, I just received 2 more x 3 packs. When I reopened the issue I was told it was a photo error (it wasn't) and credited for 1 x 12 pack, leaving me out of pocket but sufficiently put off to not pursue any further. I would just advise to keep your orders reasonably small, buy across a wide range of categories, and always check the dates you'll be getting.
