fraudulent practices
I want to bring my experience with this cloud storage company IDRIVE.Com based out of california. This particular company has a difficult onsite page for a consumer to cancel their subscription. I tried cancelling my account last year and couldnt, then chatted with an agents and also called and I was assured that my account will be cancelled and I will not be charged for upcoming 2022-23 period. Nothing like this happened and I just found out that I did get charged .I tried again to cancel this year and sent an e mail to their support ,they asked me to provide the last 4 numbers of credit card I had used ,i did provide that but later on found out that they were using my old credit card number and they refused to cancel. I sat and wasted again 20 min on phone for this same thing and was told they will request a prorated refund for 2023-24(was again renewed on march 3.2022 they have already charged without my knowledge). It took me at least 10 tries to be able to successfully cancel my account online. There has to be some kind of rule that we can stop these unscrupulous companies charging autorenewal without your consent I have also put my comment's on the FTC website where they are asking for comments from the public for cloud companies
