Shocking Lack of Support from HP – Avoid If You Expect Aftercare

I purchased an HP Smart Tank Plus 555 Wireless All-in-One Printer, which developed persistent faults while still under warranty — including repeated error messages and connectivity failures. I followed HP’s procedures and submitted a detailed written complaint over four months ago, along with proof of purchase and warranty details (Case No. 5138838673). Despite sending two formal letters (dated January and May 2025), I have received no response whatsoever from HP — not even an acknowledgment. For a global tech company, this complete disregard for customer communication and warranty obligations is truly unacceptable. The product is unfit for purpose, and HP has failed to honour its warranty or even explain the delay. I am now being forced to escalate the matter to Trading Standards and share my experience here to warn others. HP might sell sleek-looking devices, but their customer service is non-existent when something goes wrong. Proceed with caution — if you value support and accountability, look elsewhere.
