Our personal Tour.
Early in August, we enjoyed 2 weeks on a self-drive tour around Ireland, which had been arranged by Irish Tourism. The package included all of our accommodation, car hire, and sightseeing. The accommodation ranged from B & Bs to the luxury of Dromoland Castle, and the absolute charm of Loch Lein Country House - all of them well-chosen and in good locations. The 75-page booklet sent to us prior to the start of our trip meant we were well-informed about where to go and what to see. We were not part of a group, - it was just the two of us, and we think it is great that Irish Tourism put in the amount of work they did to make our holiday the superb experience that we enjoyed.
