Great Holidays! Struggling to book again!

Thank you for your response. We requested call back on 1. 21st may and time 2.when no call back came i emailed on the info 3. When no response, i emailed on service 4. When no response i went onto the chat and was told bethanie would contact me i held on no response 5. Finally, i contacted your MD for clarity. I trust this helps. We enjoyed the Rhine Cruise (the best one we have been on), so much we booked a call into Riviera over 8 days ago for a timed call back and stayed in all day! We have since emailed Riviera (twice), saying we would like to book another TWO holidays with them and again, NO RESPONSE! I'm not sure what the point is of being asked to fill in a form requesting a date and time 8 days in advance and to wait in for 8 hours to never receive a call back, this is not best practice. Other river cruise/tour organisations we have never travelled with phoned us back within 24 hours and offered discounts!

Worst Western

As both my wife and I enjoy swimming, we booked into a Best Western hotel in Glouchester and were looking forward to spending our Golden Anniversary there! Two days before we arrived, they offered us an upgrade and then the day before they cancelled, saying they had to do maintenance. The one day they had more than enough rooms to upgrade the next day they had none! No they are arguing weather we booked in the fist place.# This does not make sense!! 1. Why would they offer and upgrade to someone who had not booked? 2. Why would they ring us to cancel the booking because of maintenance? UNBELIEVABLE!

Disappointed on our first meal out

We always love Browns and make for them, in any town or city where we visit. Their food, hospitality and selection of dishes and the way they are represented is always good. Unfortunately having selected what we wanted on the menu, that said they were available, we were surprised that when ordering the waitress said, nether were available. Customer service is so important to maintain and extend your customer base. It would have been such an easy fix to say what courses they did not have. either on the web or on the physical menu or tell you when you entered! Sadly, non of this was done and they did not meet or exceed customer expectation. It would have saved embarrassment and disappoinment for everyone. It's a little like saying you have petrol, when you do not. Staff must know this information before you do! For us it was a 34 mile round journey to visit.
